This is the closed view of the pop-up box card I made for the MMTOT challenge this week. I made faux wood by mixing re-inker with PVA glue and painting it onto card, a technique I discovered some years ago when I tried doing faux barnboard without reading the instructions properly, and mixed the re-inker with the glue instead of the white paint. Cut the pieces, scored them and added them to the box. Used matt gold card to punch photo corners, embossed them and buffed them with Craft-T rub-ons. The chipboard key is from Maya Road, covered on both sides with gold EP, and attached through an eyelet with a ball chain. I made the little lock using a Spellbinders die and simply punching three holes in it with the cropadile, then attached it with brads. A screw brad also holds the bellyband closed.
